Let our team know if you’d like to learn more about this forthcoming luxury Cadillac SUV. They’re always happy to help drivers like you around Fort Carson and Canon City, CO.
Customization runs standard with each of the five available 2022 Cadillac Escalade trims when the luxury SUV launches. As was the case with the 2021 model, drivers can choose from one of two engines, depending on their driving style, wants, and needs.
The standard 6.2L V8 engine is expected to emit a brawny 420 horsepower and a whopping 460 lb-ft of torque. The standard 10-speed automatic transmission is set to return, as is the option to choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Meanwhile, the available 3.0L Duramax® Turbo Diesel engine is expected to bring 277 horsepower to the lineup. Whichever option you choose, know that the available Autotrac® 2-speed transfer case allows for added handling in any driving condition.
As drivers have come to expect, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade cuts no corners with its interior cabin furnishings. The 2021 model introduced the industry’s first-ever curved OLED display, which had twice the pixel density of a 4K television. This 38-inch display is expected to return for the 2022 model.
Also expected to be included as part of this display is:
Perhaps just as impressive is the expected return of the 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference setup. This impressive setup is exclusive to the 2022 Cadillac Escalade Premium trim model, although a 19-speaker setup runs standard with the base model.
Another tech-based feature worth considering will be the available Rear Seat Entertainment setup. Second- and third-row passengers can stream media using one of several 12.6-inch display screens.
Whereas the 2022 Cadillac Escalade is expected to retain the same advanced safety and driver assist technologies from its predecessors, there are notable differences this time around. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning will now be included as a standard feature; this was not available on every 2021 model.
The 2022 Cadillac Escalade should boast these standard safety features—and more—to keep your drives as safe as possible:
In addition to these offerings, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade is expected to bring back other worthwhile driver assist features worth considering. The first feature, Super Cruise™, serves as a hands-free driver-assistance system to provide autonomous driving on select highways.
It appears the forthcoming Cadillac luxury SUV is set to build on all that made its predecessors worth driving. Fort Carson and Canon City, CO, drivers are no strangers to natural beauty, and it’s our belief that this 2022 Cadillac Escalade preview sets the stage for a dynamic experience in our neck of the woods.
